SOUP DAY

Last week I made a delicious soup. I don’t know the recipe because I threw in so much stuff. I am trying to make another soup today. Don’t ask me why because I have plenty in the freezer. I had vegies left so I decided to make another soup. This time however I wrote down everything I put in. Not exact but……………….
So I put in:

marrow bones
flanken
two bags of frozen veggies
chicken powder
carrots
can of pea soup
kosher frozen pea soup
zuchinni
cauliflower
onions
lima beans
barley
noodles
turnip
parsley green and parsley root

I can’t think of what else. It is cooking. I will let it cook till six when we will eat the soup and meat for supper. Hopefully it will be as good as last week. I also purred all of it. It comes out or should come out very thick.
I just hope I have enough containers to put it all in.
I put the meat in first and let it boil. Well it seemed like the pot had a leak so I emptied the pot. We tried and tried to find a whole but couldn’t!!!!!!! I’m going to check the pot after the water bowls again………………….my cleaning lady thinks the whole expands when it cooks??????
So tonight we are going to play bridge. Hubby wanted to go to our condo meeting but I can’t find a substitute for him. I called a few people but they couldn’t play.
Tomorrow I am going to stay with my friend in the hospital. His daughter and wife are going for colonoscopies.
I made a appointment with the periodontist. They can’t seem to get rid of whatever I have with my gums. They told me and my hubby that it wasn’t cancer?????? I think on Thursday he will take a biopsy.
So now time to check my soup and then I want to have a nap. I LOVE NAPS!

RYN: Hi Ginger. Soup, awesome idea, you just inspired me! Thanks for the note. I ALMOST wish I had met the “princess” before I end it, just to see and feel what I imagine is true from reports and as an observer. But, I don’t think it’s worth my peace of mind to prolong things one minute, so I won’t complicate matters.
