SO UTTERLY DISGUSTING-read

My friend waited in the hospital all day for a procedure which was suppose to be done this morning on her cousin. Her cousin had fasted since twelve last night. In the morning they were told it would be done at 2. When everything was ready to go, way after two, the doctor came. He checked the X-rays which had been taken early in the morning and had a fit. The procedure was not necessary. No one had bothered to tell the doctor that the xrays were ok and she didn’t need anything done. Can you believe it??????????????
Today I went to a poster store and bought one with pyramids which I am going to turn into three d for my SIL. She was just in Egypt so think she will appreciate it.
Next door was a FANTASTIC NEW AGE BOOK STORE. I spent alot of time there and bought three books. Alot of the books were in French so that cut down on the selection but they still had alot.
Then I went for lunch and made copies. I went to buy meat for Friday night and finally to a food store where I bought lots of vegies.
All in all a good day. So now it’s time to make supper.

Mmmm– supper sounds good! That’s incredible about the procedure — bahhhh, are Drs overworked or just incompetent — or is it all the office help???

Darn, I’m sorry for your friend. It’s bad enough to have to not eat, and wait for hours, but then to find out the tests weren’t even necessary?? she should sue!! How cool that you found a New Age store! I’ll look forward to hearing about what you got to read there. hugs, Weesprite

That hospital thing does not surprise me. When my daughter broke her arm and needed surgery we got there at 8am for a 11 am surgery. We waited over 6 hours for the surgeon to show up, she finally gets in there at 2 pm. She gets out at 6 pm and they send her home at 9 pm so I was there for over 12 hours! What a nightmare.She was in such pain poor kid but they made her leave so she did not have…

to spend a night at the hospital. They really do not give a damn about people at all, it is like a big meat factory.
