I don’t know if the Diarymaster would care if we all switched to Prosebox but maybe we should all switch BEFORE we have to. I don’t understand why the Diarymaster wouldn’t let us know exactly what is happening.

what is it that you’re talking about? I know what prosebox is, and I know who the Diarymaster is, but I wasn’t aware that there is a possible shutdown in the works.. That so?

The only person in this world who knows when OD is gonna end IS the Diary Master himself. Having said that, people who wish to move to prosebox can do that if they want to. It’s their freedom of movement.

There is nothing wrong with OD that a little patience and knowledge won’t take care of. Have fun over there at ProseBox .. but there are some of us that are not kneejerkers and will be here and not abandoning OD.

I have no idea what Prosebox is. I know OD is very slow and frustrating right now needing some repairs, but I don’t think it is going to cease operation at this time. I hope not. Hang in there, hugs p

I’m not going to try to find another diary site… if the Open Diary disappeared it would be a shame since I’ve been writing here for 13 years, but it wouldn’t be the end of the world. I have Facebook and if I get desperate I have my own neglected blog. But mostly I just post on facebook. I like the instant response. (hugs)

Besides, long ago when there was a fuss about ‘the OD is going to close’ I joined another diary site, and it disappeared after a few years but the Open Diary was still going strong!

I have a prosebox too but I just cant get used to it. I will stay here on OD as long as it lets me. It seems to be working a lot better today. I hope it continues because this is really home to me.
