PLANS FOR TODAY

Yesterday we stayed home. Hubby packed about thirty boxes of his cars. Then he called our son to help him move them to the storage room in the new condo. In the meantime I was packing odds and ends from every room. There is always something to pack. I don’t care as before I know it we’ll be moving.
Yesterday also a man came and took some paintings. I’m sorry I didn’t check them out first to see if I want any. Also I never signed them I’m not sure why I never sign my work. He took about eight paintings so I think he’s a dealer but he claimed he wasn’t.
This morning the mover is coming to check out our junk. I hope I remember to ask him if we can leave the stuff in the drawers of our bedroom set.
My cleaning lady is also coming. I will take her over to the new condo and leave her there cleaning. I don’t want to stay there as I have nothing to do yet.
This afternoon I have someone interested in some shelving. I’ll call the city to see when we can put furniture out for them to pick up.
I hope none of you are in the fire zone!!!!!! Why is the weather so crazy lately????????????
I was disappointed yesterday. I had asked my children to bring over their kids to say goodbye to this house and hello to our new condo. They never came. I know my DIL said that she didn’t think her children had a connection with this house!!!!!!!!! Whatever! I just thought it was a good idea. I guess they are too busy. I can see that now that I don’t take them for Bubby Days we will never be close again. Although once I start driving again I’ll see if they want to spend some time with me again.
