NEW IDEAS FOR PAINTING

IT WAS A VERY INTERESTING CLASS. IT WAS TO BE HELD THIS AFTERNOON. WHEN I GOT THERE THE TEACHER SAID IT HAD BEEN IN THE  MORNING. WHY DIDN’T WE KNOW. WE WERE THREE OF US. ANYHOW LUCKILY THE TEACHER GAVE IT OVER AGAIN.

SO WHAT DID WE DO? WE USED CHEAP TISSUE PAPER. IT HAS TO BE CHEAP. TISSUE PAPER THAT RUNS WHEN IT IS WET!!!! SO WE WET THE PAPER. THEN WE TORE OFFF PIECES OF THE TISSUE PAPER AND PLACED IT ON A BIGGER PIECE OF PAPER. WE WET THE TISSUE PAPER AGAIN. THEN WE COULD EITHER LEAVE IT THERE OT TAKE IT OFF. THE TISSUE PAPER LEFT WONDERFUL EFFECTS ON THE PAPER.

I ENJOYED THE CLASS AND LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT WEEK.

Serious fun, it sounds like. ryn: Mommy Tsunami (another diarist) has adopted a bunch of kids, and I’m making quilts for their beds. I’ve done three, and I need to make a 4th (or so I think… I’m pretty sure I didn’t make it yet). There’s a shot of the purple one a few entries back. And there’s a blue one and a green one that match that I finished in November.

Wow, that does sound cool.

Sounds like a neat class.

RYN I have no respect for anyone who thinks so little of their country that they would duck and run, rather than stay and fight (protest or whatever) for what they believe in. If you think war is evil and the war in Iraq is unnecessary, then Americans need to stay and fight for what they believe. Now the draft puts a different light on fighting for what you believe, but isn’t this country worthit?

RYN cont.. by staying and fighting I mean using whatever means are necessary to get our soldiers home and war ended. I have more respect for those who burned their draft card and protested during Vietnam, than those who ran away. Running away or staying to fight to end the war is a personal choice that each person has to deal with. I say if they cut and run, then they don’t need to come back.

That sounds really nice. I love different painting ideas. You asked what we are planting, well, we are planting lavendar plants, because they help keep bugs off roses and other flowering bushes, plus they smell good. Then we are planting different flowers. We want to plant some bushes out front. Love,
