It is HOT and HUMID!

Hubby went to town and I stayed back to sew and do my thing. However I can’t sew because the thread keeps breaking. A friend told me that I should change the needle if the thread breaks so once hubby comes I will go to town. I didn’t go with hubby as I didn’t want to spend any money. I am saving for the needlecraft conference in Toronto. BUT I have to get a new needle so once hubby returns home I will go into town and look for a needle. Not sure where else I will go if anywhere.
I didn’t really want to come here last night. I wanted to go shopping with my daughter today but hubby waited for me most of the day yesterday so I didn’t want to change plans. Plus I thought hubby would be very upset if I changed plans after he waited most of the day for me to drive with him. I needed/wanted to leave the car for my daughter. Anyhow next weekend I will drive up with someone else IF hubby wants to come up on Thursday. We are going for supper with his sister Thursday night so I hope he will wait for Friday.
My daughter doesn’t want to go back to school as planned. She wants to stay here longer as there is a bachelorette party for one of her friends. Hubby and I discussed it on the drive here and we will tell her it’s time to go back to school! She is getting TOO lazy and comfortable here! School starts August 28th and she is not going back till the fourth. I think she will have missed enough. I was always afraid to miss a class because I didn’t trust the other students to tell me what I missed. Hope we don’t have a battle on our hands.
My cousin just had her latest cookbook published. I got a copy yesterday. It looks like an excellent cookbook with lots of nutritional information. I wanted to get three for my children but one of my sons said he would give his to his EX so I will not give one to him. Am I a bitch?
I registered for a DECORATIVE PAINTING class at our senior center. I will be going with my cousin.
Anyhow time for lunch and then hopefully my hubby will be back and I’ll go to town. Maybe I will stop at the bookstore and read and relax and have a cup of coffee.
I’m feeling a bit down today. Hopefully it’s not just that I don’t have money but not sure what else it could be. Of course I hate the heat. I don’t want to be here today.
BUT I BETTER GET OVER IT! THERE ARE MUCH MORE SERIOUS THINGS!!!!!
