NEWS FROM GINGER – ok
It’s five a.m. I will go back to bed after I write this. I went to bed early(around 9) because I was tired and my knee hurt.
My egg teacher is in the hospital. Not sure why. I talked to the other woman from the egg class and she said my teacher has shingles. Teacher’s daughter said her mother was very sick. I will try to stay in touch and maybe go visit one day. So that is probably the end of my egg classes.
Today we are going to see a play. It’s about an hour away from here. We will leave about 9:30 and meet other friends there. We will have lunch and walk around. Then we will be off to the trailer.
Saturday I have my quilting class. I can’t wait to finish my quilt. I am all ready to start a new one.
I am still CLEANING and throwing out. The house is looking so much better. My rooms are starting to look empty instead of cluttered. My sewing room is set. I moved my egg stuff up there. I still have some eggs to finish and then maybe I’ll just concentrate on my quilting.
I am still getting rid of books. I have a feeling some will end up in the garbage. When I left some at McDonald’s a kid who was cleaning up took them. What happened to them? I guess I’ll never know but I will continue to spread the word.
My grandson was here yesterday. We had a pretty quiet day. In the morning we went to the park across the street. The wading pool that I took my kids to and my grandson until this year has been turned into a fountain!!!!! When I called to find out why they said that last year they found "things" growing in the pool so there will be no accumulation anymore. My kids swam in it forever!!!!! Anyhow my grandson played in it for awhile. It wasn’t that hot yesterday. There was also another little boy for awhile so they played together. There was also a mother and little girl. The mother was a single mother who was staying home with her daughter. I told her she was doing the right thing and if she ever needed support to ring my bell.
In the afternoon we had lunch and then just stayed in the kitchen. Grandson watched Tom and Jerry and did some arts and crafts. I forgot that we could just stay home and play with Play Dough etc.
Guess that’s about it. I know I am not doing so well reading your entries. Some times I am just not in the mood. Back to bed.
Shingles! That poor woman. It’s nice to unclutter but throw away books? Ow. Have a good day.

Shingles, not good. No wonder she was acting so strange the other day.

I had a mild case of shingles once – I’m so glad it wasn’t worse! Poor lady. She should have told everyone – people would care. I’ll bet that single mother WILL ring your doorbell — get ready! 🙂 Like, what does she use for MONEY?

I hope your egg teacher gets better soon! I need to start uncluttering the house…really bad. I am tempted to get a big dumpster for a couple days and just throw a bunch of stuff away!

I still love Play Dough! =) The smell of it, the texture, all the creativity it sparks! Hope the egg teacher recovers quickly. I’m sorry the wading pool was made into a fountain. Dang it!
