NEW YEARS EVE-read

New Years Eve…………so much hype…………afraid to go out………..afraid things will blow up………..lights will go out etc. Turns out nonsense……..was the hype for nothing? Could everything have happened? I really thought there might be terrorism in the States. I wonder why there wasn’t? Are the terrorists lulling us so into a false sense of security? Were they too busy celebrating???????

I don’t know what you did New Year’s eve but we went out for supper at a local restaurant and then we went back to a friend’s house——all within a mile.

Well we got home to the house about 9 and sat around until 12. While I was watching on the goings on all over I was very frustrated and disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was disappointed that we had chosen to stay home instead of going to a restaurant party etc. Why is hindsight so great! We came home about 1. If my daughter wasn’t using my car I would have driven to find a party on the beach or something. Next year if all is well I will arrange to go to a party. I found sitting around with the same old friends BORING!!!!
