MY TWO CENTS-read
PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES GET WAY TOO MUCH PAY.
THEY ARE TOO ARROGANT AND THINK THEY KNOW/CAN DO IT ALL.
TOO MANY ARE ON DRUGS.
TOO MANY ARE INTO CRIMINAL ACTIVITY.
I THINK THE MONEY SHOULD BE SPENT ON HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION.
MAYBE THEY SHOULD BE PAID BY THE HOUR. IT’S NOT OUR PROBLEM IF THEIR CAREER IS SHORT LIVED.
Off to bowling. Yesterday worked out fine. One friend talks the whole time but that was ok because I worked on two scrapbook pages. They left around 4. I made supper and we went to play bridge. We went early and of course the woman who bitched at me last week kept us all waiting. Two or three people want to play as much as they can. Who cares? Go play another day. One game more or less???????
Hope you aren’t getting paid to bowl! hahaha have fun today…dan get a BIG game and pick up a split just to show off a bit.

I agree! If people would stop paying to see the professional games, then the teams wouldn’t make so much money. People who want to watch sports could go watch their local high school or middle school or Little League teams instead. There usually aren’t very many people watching the kids play! hugs, Weesprite

Exactly! They are way too big for their britches. At least the media portrays them as such. I’ve never met one in real life.

I went to school with one of them, Stephen Marbury. He was very arrogant but that was back then like most young men. Now I admire how he’s trying to help youths by breaking down expensive sneaker branding. But what’s really sad is that billions are spent on the Iraq war.

I agree with you about the pay of professional athletes…especially in USA….its obscene.Yes the money would be better spent on welfare issues. Guess you can tell I am not really a sports fan…LOL hugs P

I think the same can be said for some of these actors who make a ridiculous amount of money to make a movie or TV series. But that is our entertainment, you don’t see too many people saying stop making movies or doing TV shows.Then what would we do, read a BOOK!? 😉
