MY FRIEND HAS CANCER-READ

A few minutes ago I found out that one of my best and oldest friends has leukemia! I can’t believe it! Life is so scary! It seems as if there is sickness and death all around! Z is in his early sixties and has been friends with my hubby for many years. I fixed him up with a friend from university. It is a very sad time for us. The worse part is that we are in Florida for another few weeks and he is in Ottawa. When we return home we will have to make plans to visit.

Actually I know many people who have cancer and many live full lives and are not bad. Some have overcome overwhelming odds……..but of course it must still be terrible to know you have such a dreadful disease.
