MY BIRTHDAY

 Yesterday I turned 71. It’s hard to believe. I spent most of the day with my favourite cousin!!! I picked her up around ten. I went into her house because she wanted to show me her bras. They turned out to be the GENI bras which I have been tempted to buy for awhile but never did. I wasn’t sure what size to buy. Anyways she was always raving about them. I tried hers on and it fit.
Then we went to the art show at her clubhouse. It was amazing. One man was doing some carving. I always wanted to do that. He takes a course right near me so maybe next year!
We went to MACY’S as I wanted to buy earrings. They were a present from my hubby!  FINALLY!!!! I bought a pair of gold "knots."  I am not sure if I will keep them. I may buy "hanging" ones. I was so frustrated!!!! I bought my Genie bras there. I bought a pair of black pants and a top. So the saleslady who sold me the Geni bras says there is a presale on Wednesday. So if I paid for the bras yesterday and pick them up on Wednesday I save an extra 20%. I told her I want to take them with me so she told me to come back on Wednesday with the bill and she would give me the 20%. I asked her about my earrings. She said she would go to the jewelry counter with me on Wednesday and see if I could get the 20%. That would be great. When I paid for my pants and tshirt she took off the 20% right away. What a racket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My earrings were 600!!!!! Of course I wouldn’t spend that. The saleslady takes out the calculator and says ok you get 50% off. That’s super. Then she proceeds to take off another 10 and then another two%. I was so upset!!!!!!!!!! What type of racket is this? How much are the earrings worth. Why can’t they just have a price? Do women really get fooled and or pleasure from watching them take off all these stupid made up discounts??????????? Anyhow if I’m not busy I will go back. I do have to start packing.
We went for lunch in the food court and my cousin treated me. Then I dropped her off and came home. It was close to four. I had a few minutes to rest as we were going to friends for a barbecue. 
Hubby told me that my friend at home fell and broke her hip. She had an operation and is now in the hospital!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! POOR WOMAN!
We had a very pleasant evening. Supper was delicious. The couple will be coming to Montreal in a few weeks. I invited them for supper. I had no time to reciprocate here. We played a card game called MAY I. It was a lot like Liverpool. By the time we got home it was after 11 and I was exhausted.

Today we are suppose to see my son and his family. Not sure what we will do.
