MOVING
We are moving Wednesday, June 15th. Any hints for the last few days would be appreciated! We have boxes all over the house. On Monday I want to start taking stuff over. There are so much "loose" stuff that I don’t want the movers to move. For example my MAH JONGG game, my accordion etc etc. I hope to take stuff over everyday until we move. There is way too much stuff.
On Monday my cleaning lady will go over to the new condo to clean the dust etc. I hope it won’t take her long. I was over yesterday. The condo looks wonderful. I can’t wait to move in!!!!!!!!
Today is very busy!
We have to pick up the laundry.
We have to pick up the bouquet for my granddaughter. We’re going to her ballet recital in the afternoon. Then we’re going to my son for supper.
My sick friend in Ottawa is celebrating his 73rd birthday today. I have to think of what I can send him. FLOWERS???????BALLOONS?????? JOKE BOOK??????? I’m wondering when I can go back to see him. My friend and her daughters need some support. I know I can take the bus easily but guess I will have to wait until we move. We also have to go to Toronto to see hubby’s brother who was in the hospital. We’re going the weekend after Father’s Day.
Anyhow I better get back to bed.

Be double sure what you throw out Is garbage and what you move isn;t. Can’t tell you how many people accidentally toss out good things they wanted and needed as mistaken trash and then actually moved their trash to the new house.

Instead of writing, KITCHEN, BeDROOM , on all the boxes, use a huge BLOCK of color, say, Orange for kitchen, blue for living room, etc, then just tell the guys .. ALL THE BLUE BOXES go into the living room. It’s quicker, no writing words, and easier ..the guys just check color . Use large markers for color or colored stickers.

MOVE your personal/precious/heirlooms/photographs etc, your art FIRST –by car separate from the moving van. PACK these first –. Pack the kitchen last. You’ll use the kitchen stuff last and worst comes to worse, if you leave it kitchen things can always be replaced easier than other things.

How great you are able to give your painting s to a childrens hospital!Lovely!I am not keen on moving any time however,have had enough moves to put me off forever I think!WE must see pics of the operation please and the condo!What an odd thing for people to count your money!How on earth do they know how much you have??I’d tell them to mind their business!!Good Luck for move!xxxxxx
