MISERABLE WEATHER-ok

The weekend was filled with rain and cold, damp and dull weather. No sun at all. DAMP! YUK! I would rather have snow.
Friday night we went for supper with another couple. We went to a deli restaurant. Nothing special. But we had a pleasant evening chatting.
Saturday was an ugly ugly day. We stayed home most of the day. In the late afternoon we went to visit my friend’s mother in the hospital. It was pouring like mad and so cold and damp!!!!
In the evening we went to another deli with friends. It was a large, empty restaurant so we could sit and talk. The smoked meat and fries were yummy. Much better than the night before.
Sunday?? I went bowling with my son. My hubby came late to give us some pointers. I did pretty good. It was great to spend some time with this son. We don’t see him too often. We went out for brunch and then came home. Too yukky to do anything else.
At home I did some washing and worked on my crafts. I tried to have a nap but couldn’t fall asleep.
While I was making supper an old acquaintance called to find out how hubby was and what was happening with the radiation.
A little while later my OLD good friend called. We had broken up the relationship a few years ago. Apparently my acquaintance called her. I don’t know if she suggested she call me or my friend decided on her own. We talked awhile. I brought her up on news that I thought she would have heard about in the country but she knew nothing. At the end she said I should call her when we get to Florida. I was very excited and said we would. Now I’m wondering whether or not it would be a good idea. I don’t have to decide now.
I spoke to my cousin in Vancouver. Next summer she will be moving back to Toronto. I wish she would move here. Everyone is in Toronto. Maybe we should move there????? Anyhow it will be good to have her closer. We can meet for a couple of hours in Kingston.
This morning we are going bowling. First we are giving in my car for servicing.
It’s sad that there is still so much violence in IRAQ. How come the powerful USA cannot overcome this or just pull out of just yet another war they are losing but don’t want to admit it.
I better go get ready.

It’s raining here, and I’d rather have snow too! I hope you have a lovely day. hugs, Weesprite

hope ur enjoying ur self its windy and cold here 🙁 xxx

Florida is too humid and too many bugs. Why do you want to move there? We Americans do NOT support the war and we are disgusted with our president. This war is becoming another VietNam.

We had that same cold, blah, rainy weekend here too and it continues on today. I sure could use a bit of sunshine. This is so depressing. 🙁

I am not for the iraq war. The president went there to free a people from Saddam so he said so now he should leave and let them manage their own government and fight amongst themselves if thats what they want. I wonder if getting rid of Saddam was the right thing to do. He did have control of the country and now its just all in chaos. Thw war was a total disater killing many of our young boys fornothing.Good thing I am not presidnt as I would say nuke the whole dam bunch. Glad thats not my decision to make but it breaks my heart to see so many killed and nothing seems changed .
