MEMORIES

I am planning a MEMORY night with my children. I am planning to prepare supper. During supper and after I hope we will share all kinds of memories of our lives in this house. Since I am packing I have found different things to show them. I also have some cassettes for them to listen if they are so inclined. I told them I don’t want the grandchildren as I don’t think they could appreciate the event. It’s up to my daughter from Toronto and son to decide when it would be good for them. I think we should also make a video but not sure.

Anyhow we are not sure what to do about the dryer. Right now we are thinking of replacing the one we have.

We are going out for supper since I am TOO lazy.

I just packed about six boxes of books. Sometimes I think I should just get rid of them. I am sure I will end up with about one hundred if not more. OY!

One of my OD friends suggested I get a new hobby/interest so I am open for suggestions.

The memory night is such a great idea! You have so many hobbies and interests already. Why don’t you choose something that is VERY VERY different from anything you do now. Like maybe taking a tai-chi or yoga class? or….. I know!!….. horseback riding! ;o) !! hugs, Nicky

Yep — I agree that memories are VERY important.

Israeli dancing. Dancers tend to be very nice and it is good exercise!

I still think you should volunteer. I have a feeling that a real sense of purpose and being needed/appreciated would do wonders. I’m sure there are interesting volunteer opportunities around you if you do some research!

What a great way to recap all the living that took place in your home. Great idea. Don’t you have several hobbies now?

ryn: ACtually I’m not sure where he is in Montreal! Usually they are at places with big parking lots – malls, GM, Ford, Canadian Tire, etc. 🙂 I will ask him when I talk to him today!
