Anyhow my short trip is over. I will be leaving soon to go back home. I am ready!!

I packed during the night because I couldn’t sleep. What else is new?

Last night I spent with my sister. We wanted to go to a movie but couldn’t find one we liked at the right time. One was starting at 9:30. It was much too late and we would have had to wait around. Instead we went to Walmart. I didn’t buy anything.

Now I better go finish packing and load up the car. I took my Fosomax so can’t eat for an hour. I will stop at MacDonald’s on the way.

All in all it was a good trip. I got to see most people that I had planned to see except for hubby’s cousin. I don’t know why I didn’t call her…………..

The title of that song is indeed “Leaving on a Jet Plane”…words and music by John Denver. I remember it from the late 60’s when Peter, Paul and Mary recorded it! Have a good trip!

Neat that so many people remember that old song…so do I, and remember Peter, Paul and Mary sang it, but not that John Denver wrote. Nice to know.. Glad your trip was nice… mine is coming up in less than 2 weeks.. Hugs
