LAZY DAY SO FAR

I stayed home all morning as I wanted to get on a business call but I was late so couldn’t get on. I was very frustrated but what can I do? I just had to help hubby make the bed. I still haven’t been able to reach my sponsor in order to work with him with my friend who is interested in the business. So very frustrating!!!!!!
It’s been cold here but I’m not complaining.
I’m going for lunch with a friend. Not sure where we are going.
Last night we played canasta with friends. The women lost two games!!!!!!! I think the men cheated. LOL!
Tonight we are going out with friends from the city. Then if it isn’t too late we will play cards. We are so busy socially here in Florida.
I haven’t been going swimming. Yesterday I had a meeting from the stained glass club. Tomorrow I have a meeting from the art club. I hope to watch the Olympics tomorrow night.
I haven’t been working on any hobbies. I guess they will wait until I get home.
I am reading WATER FOR ELEPHANTS. It’s very good. I’m reading it on my KINDLE.
Next Saturday my son is coming with his girlfriend. They will stay overnight and then go on a cruise.
Next Friday my daughter finds out if she will have an internship for the following year. I think she is very nervous and anxious. I don’t blame her as she won’t have any direction for next year if she’s not accepted.
My son’s girlfriend lost her mother a few years ago. Next week is the date of her death. My son asked me what he/we can do. Any suggestions? I will call her on that date. I also have some things to send her as my son asked him why I only mail the kids and not her!!!!! I am trying to be better about calling my children and others.
Anyhow better go organize my purse as I think there is a dead body inside.

You’re funny today…the cheating at the card game and the dead body in your purse. LOL! I don’t like to commemorate the anniversary of my mom’s death. But if your son’s gf does, I think sending a card is plenty sufficient. If you really want to be generous, include some money to use for flowers to put on the grave. That would truly be appreciated.
