JUST WHAT I DIDN’T NEED-ok

I called my druggist to tell him I didn’t need the strips he sent for my diabetic machine and he went into a long lecture about why I better take my sugar level at least twice a day. He gave me a good scare so I think I will be more careful from now on. I usually take it about once a week maybe.

I didn’t need to hear that today as I was already feeling IKKY but it woke me up to reality so I guess it’s a good thing.

yes good thing. blood sugar levels are not to be messed with.

Hmmm…. I was diagnosed diabetic about 3 1/2 years ago and I have gone to two sets of classes on the subject and I STILL can’t figure out why I’m testing all the time — after all, it’s always the same if I take it the same time of day (but getting better now that I’ve been dieting). I don’t think they EXPLAIN the whole procedure good enough -they don’t make me want to keep taking it.
