JUST ANOTHER DAY IN FLORIDA – OK

Slowly it is warming up but I still wore jeans and a sweater. In the morning I went to register for two courses. I was so surprised that noone was lined up when I went to register. Years ago it use to be packed and I would have to wait hours. There are so many less people here and less in the area. Few of the restaurants are busy. The streets and stores are empty! Anyhow the two courses I wanted were filled so I registered for another one.
Then I went swimming. I decided to go after breakfast as often as I can. It is turning out better as there are more people in the pool and even some that I can talk to.
I came home for a quick lunch and then it was time for the stained glass. It was so busy. I did some work but in the end I cut eight pieces on the wrong side so they broke. I will have to do it all over!!!!!!!
I came home for a short nap and then we had supper and left for bridge.
Tomorrow I am suppose to go with my cousin to the needlepoint store. We haven’t made any plans yet. I will speak to her in the morning.
In just a little over a week my son and grandchildren will be here and we will leave on a five day cruise. I am looking forward to seeing them.
I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT HUBBY AND I ARE WELL AND IN FLORIDA.

No In response to if I have been to Israel, but one day soon I will. Yes it is sweater weather out there these days

RYN: It depends on if you spend a bit of time cutting/chopping vegetables. It can dice up an onion in about 6 turns of knob-thing on top. That would have taken me at least 10 minutes (especially since I have a teeny tiny cutting board). I can never slice my potatoes thin enough when I make scalloped potatoes and this thing slices them super thin. It would work for apples, too, I’m sure if you weremaking an apple pie. It cleans up beautifully and easily. There are a lot of pieces (because they give you two bowls and a lid so you can store things in one of the bowls in the fridge and then they are the different attachments), but you need them all!!! =) Ha!
