IT WAS A VERY DARK NIGHT-PART 2-read

Jenny takes a deep breath and starts to walk. When she reaches the bottom of the mountain she looks up! For a minute she shrinks back shivering. No it isn’t because she is cold but she is afraid of might might happen to her as she climbs over the mountain. However, she realizes that she has no choice………….. so slowly, ever so slowly and watching every step she takes she starts to climb. At the beginning it is easy. She begins to feel more confident and starts humming to herself.

By this time it is pitch dark outside and she only has light from the full moon above. Luckily she is not carrying anything and has a sweater to ward off the cold. The higher she climbs the colder it gets!

Slowly and steadily she climbs the mountain. Finally she reaches the top and sees her house in the distance. She gets so excited that she begins to run down the mountain. A BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!

All of a sudden she feels herself falling…………falling down a hole which seems to have no bottom. She screams at the top of her lungs and is terrified but of course no one can hear. The hole is a small narrow one so she can feel either side of the walls. They are wet and muddy!! Desperately she tries to grasp on to the sides but there is absolutely nothing to grab onto. Finally she hits what seems to be the bottom. She begins to roll further along and when she comes to a full stop she sees a bright light!
