Welcome home. RYN on the death penalty, do you know it costs MORE to execute someone than to give them life in prison (what with mandatory legal appeals and all)? California has something like 500 prisoners on death row and executed something like 30 in the last 10 years. So it’s cheaper, in the long run, to give ’em life w/o possibility of parole.

so which islands did you see? Hubs & I were going to take a family vacation to St. Thomas next year for our anniversary. We’ve changed our minds & will go to some sleepy little town in Mexico instead. We are looking for a town on the coast where we can rent a 4 or 5 bedroom house for 10 days or so. I am researching now.
