I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight I couldn’t sleep so I got out of bed. I took most of my credit cards and charge cards from different companies and cut them up!!!!!!!!!!! I did write down the numbers in case I had to talk to the specific Mastercard or Visa company. The interesting thing was that most were Mastercards. Do they give out their cards more freely? I am determined to end my spending and debt!!! I have to! I must! I can do it!
I still want to try to get a loan because then my cards will be paid off and I will only have to worry about one payment a month which can come off my bank account automatically. I am going to the bank tomorrow to see again if I can get one. I am going to another bank – the latest bank to give me a Mastercard. If they won’t give me a loan maybe I can use that card to pay my others. Hopefully I will get someone who can help me.
This week I have no money. Hubby deposited my weekly money. He took off money for the cleaning lady. I spent money for food and that was it. My account read 0 when I checked this morning. I also bought antibiotics for my grandson. Of course I couldn’t ask my son for the money!!!!
I realize and accept now that the debts are creating a lot of stress and making me crazy. So starting tonight I will not create anymore. I will pay as much as I can every month. I have been using my pension checks to pay off my debt and will continue to do so.
Often I think that I do need more money every week but it is because I have so much debt. So I will just suck it up and stop the spending.
It felt good to cut up the cards. Now I will pay as much as I can every week and every month until I am debt free. Every week I put money in my US account and pay bills. They will get paid off!!!!!!! Yes they will!
well done, I am proud of you. hugs p

Good job!!! I don’t use credit cards. If I can’t pay cash, I don’t buy it.

very good, I knew you could do it. Debt creates so much stress, you will be glad to be fully free of it eventually. ryn: my daughter is going to a two year county college locally so we will stay here until she is finished with that, we will move into an apartment when I have to leave this house and then after that the plan is to move to Arizona.
