I COULD CARE LESS – OK

I could care less that Michael Jackson died.
I could care less if you’re rich or poor.
I could care less if my drapes match my carpets.
I could care less if my breasts sag or stand up straight.
I could care less if you or I are fat or thin.
I could care less what you eat.
I could care less about jewelery.
I could care less what you’re wearing.
I could care less what car you are driving.

I do care if you are lonely.
I do care if you are in pain.
I do care about you if you are sick.
I do care about you if you need food to eat.
I do care about you if you don’t have a home.
I do care about you if you haven’t got a coat to wear in winter.
I do care if you need help.

In other words I care about PEOPLE NOT THINGS.

MJ is a person, not a thing.

Its nice to see that there are people out there who care for the right reasons =)

Your first line completely contradicts your last. Maybe you don’t care if MJ died, but a lot of PEOPLE do care about the loss of this PERSON who was a significant influence in our lives.

I agree that Michael Jackson is a person not a thing. I expect you meant that you are not all-agog over celebrities and what goes on in their lives, like so many people are, though. I’m the same way. I don’t follow the news of the famous people much. hugs, Weesprite

Everyone assumes that anyone who mentions mj or who talks about him –is obsessed with him, but that is not the truth. You can talk about a person, remember them and not be obsessed. People just ‘remember’ him, they remember him as a child, then growing up, and then as the man who altered his appearance because he could not accept himself as he was.
