I CARE/I DON’T CARE-read

GRATITUDE

I ENJOYED MY KNITTING CLASS. SLOWLY BUT SURELY I AM GETTING IT DONE. THE WOMEN ARE FRIENDLY.

I LEARNED NEW TECHNIQUES IN THE PAPER WITH PAINTING CLASS.

MY HUBBY LEFT FOR THE COUNTRY BEFORE SUPPER. HE DIDN’T EVEN CALL TO TELL ME HE WAS GOING TONIGHT.

I WAS HAPPY NOT TO HAVE TO MAKE SUPPER. I WAS NOT HAPPY THAT HE DIDN’T LET ME KNOW HE WAS GOING TONIGHT. MAYBE I WOULDN’T HAVE COME HOME. MAYBE I WOULD HAVE DONE SOME MESSAGES AND GONE OUT FOR SUPPER. I WILL DISCUSS IT WITH HIM TOMORROW.

HE KNEW I WAS TAKING MY CAR TOMORROW ANYWAYS BECAUSE I HAVE TO BE IN EARLY SUNDAY MORNING FOR A SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY. BUT HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED DURING THE DAY AND LET ME KNOW HIS PLANS.

PART OF ME WANTS HIM TO SAY THAT HE WILL WAIT FOR ME TO GO BUT HE JUST ABOUT NEVER DOES. IN A WAY IT GIVES ME A LOT OF FREEDOM. I CAN DO WHAT I WANT. BUT, BUT IT WOULD BE SO NICE IF HE WOULD DISCUSS OUR PLANS AND COMPROMISE SOMETIMES.

SO TONIGHT I CAN RELAX AND DO MY THING. TOMORROW I WILL DO MESSAGES AND GET TO THE COUNTRY WHENEVER I GET THERE. I DON’T REALLY CARE WHEN I GET THERE. WE ARE INVITED TO FRIENDS FOR SUPPER SO I NEED TO BE THERE BY SIX.

THE TRAILER IS BEING CLEANED TOMORROW SO THIS WAY I AM NOT IN THE WAY.

IN THE MORNING I WILL GO TO CURVES, GO BUY SOME WOOL, GO TO THE QUILTING STORE, AND STOP AT AN EDUCATIONAL STORE TO BUY PAPER.

Ooh. I’d like to take a knitting class, too!

Thanks for the note. I don’t often get notes from “unfamiliar” diarists, but I notice polz has been doing some finger-pointing! Glad to find your diary. This painting with paper sounds interesting – my wife is right this minute crafting a card for her sister’s birthday . . . we will have to try this for ourselves. Thank you! (-:
