I CAN’T BELIEVE IT-OK

I can’t believe it. It doesn’t make sense. My poor friend!

How do I make a long story short?

My best friend is in a second marriage. Her hubby has NEVER gotten along with his son(from the first marriage) for various reasons. They are in business together. They are constantly yelling and fighting with each other. He is a spoiled MAN of about 41.

Anyhow the hubby finally decided to dissolve the business because the son was causing too many problems. So Monday he had a meeting with the son and told him he was selling the building and closing shop.

It was a very diffcult time. This morning my friend wrote that he BACKED DOWN! What kind of man is he? I know it’s his son but they have had such a rocky relationship. The hubby is about to have a heart attack. Why the hell would he change his mind? I can’t believe it. My friend is on her way to Toronto with her hubby so I don’t know when I’ll hear from her. She just wrote me a short email.

Am I wrong? Should he have backed down because it’s his son? The son is on drugs – yells and screams at the customers – the business has gone downhill because hubby is more or less retired.
