I ARRIVED

Yesterday I arrived here at the condo about five in the afternoon. I had very mixed feelings about being here. Part of me was happy to be here. Part of me was not happy. Of course I was exhausted after being on the road for five days. First hubby and I unpacked the car. It didn’t take long – just two trips each. The place is a mess now that I brought in my junk. Today I will spend the day cleaning and organizing and washing and making phone calls. I think there’s a lot of stuff I will get rid of! I did call my sister yesterday just to make her happy. I will probably go shopping for food also later in the day.
I must call my grandaughter as it’s her birthday this week. I must go buy a card! I promised myself I would make more phone calls this year. I MUST! I WILL! I WILL GET OVER MY DISLIKE OF MAKING CALLS! Remind me!
Courses start this week. I am debating whether or not I should sign up for some or I should just relax and take it easy. I don’t think anyone’s here yet. Probably by next weekend.
I have to decide if I will make my annual Hanukah party. I think I will. I have plenty of time to plan it as it would be the end of December.
Hubby so far has decided not to go see his brother. I know he’s upset. I suggested that we go right away for a few days. At least then we did it and maybe we can relax without thinking should we go should we not. I wonder if I should just go alone?????????? It’s a tough decision. Hubby’s sister has not been trying to find a condo here. I guess she doesn’t want to leave her brother.
I can’t believe how much junk I have here. I will have to weed through all of it and get rid of some or reorganize. I have to buy new bathmats for my bathroom. I still have some stuff to unpack. So off I go! Have a great day. Hope you are staying warm. Hope you have electricity!
