HERE I AM

Yesterday was a pretty uneventful day. I drove and then I drove some more. I stopped at the Florida Welcome Center and had some delicious orange juice. I chose some pamphlets and I was on my way once again.

I stopped over night in Daytona Beach and I am still here at 10:30. I am watching I LOVE LUCY. I guess when it’s over I’ll leave. I think I have about 3 hours left to drive. Yesterday I told my hubby to enjoy his last day of freedom and he told me the same.

I am at a Quality Inn. They advertised it at 49 but I didn’t read the fine print so it was 59. They also said it was completely renovated but it still leaves a lot to be desired. They gave me a handicapped room. Anyhow I wasn’t in the room that much so it was fine. The worse thing is that I have a very poor internet signal. When I tried to lock the door a piece fell of the lock fell off!!!! I will tell them at the desk that’s for sure.

I went to Barnes and Noble. Then I went to a Joann’s store. What a wonderful large store. I bought some fleece to make my son’s girlfriend a "tied" blanket. I kept questioning why I was buying it now because who knows when I can give it to her. Maybe, just maybe I should send it to her for Hanukah. I was going to send money but maybe just maybe I will send gifts instead which will be much cheaper.

I went to PANERA BREAD for supper. I also went to Walmart etc. I am not sure why I ran around till about ten!!!!

I slept well and now I better call my hubby, pack up and hit the road.
