HE SLAPPED ME-read

GRATITUDE

WE HAD A VERY NICE WEEKEND. I SPENT A LOT OF TIME DOING MY THREE D ART AND QUILTING.

Hubby and I were on our way home. I usually sleep most of they way. Anyhow he kept stopping fast etc. The last time he did it I said, I hate driving with you. He reached out and slapped my arm. He has NEVER EVER done anything like this before. I was shocked. It’s not the first time I tell him that I don’t like his driving and he gets annoyed with me because I yell, OY!!!!! often while he is driving. He says that if I was watching instead of sleeping I would have seen that a car pulled out in front and he had no recourse but to stop fast. I tell him to stay far from the car in front so it wouldn’t happen.

We went out for supper but never brought it up. Again I wonder how it would be to live alone. I go through so many moods. Times when we get along very well. Times like this when I realize he is so different from me and we have such different ideas.

I am probably going to go to Florida later than him. I want to stay here for the first night of Hanukah so I can celebrate with my children. He doesn’t mind so that is probably the way we will do it. I am never in a rush to go and he is.

QUESTION?????????? Is the format different for OD? It certainly is when I look at my list of favorites.

I have just sent a message to DiaryMaster about the format of favourites…hope its fixed soon. Sorry to hear about this drama…..but you must have loved each other heaps at one time…is it too late to recapture that? hugs

I am just wondering if he is the one driving, why does he expect you to watch out for cars? Isn’t he the one that is supposed to do that? He had no reason to slap you. That was uncalled for. My husband is not the world’s greatest driver. I rarely sleep when he is driving. I can’t relax. I really prefer to drive myself most of the time.

If you yelled out while he was driving you probably startled him and slapping your arm was just a reaction. I’ve done that myself.

Yes the format for the “favorites” have changed. Now you can pick and choose which one of your favorites can read your favorite only entries

Someone was trying to use a new code and used it in favorites. It is now fixed. It was a bugger but just think of the learning that came with it. I doubt I will even get close to that with learning html but it would be fantistic to know enough to make any mistakes.

LOL, you cannot drive from the passenger seat; but that hitting thing must stop. Tell him he is NOT permitted to slap you. lol, nip it in the bud. And if he is a bad driver, dangit , get yourself in the driver’s seat instead of driving from the passenger seat. You just cannot reach the brakes from where you are sitting. Peace on your next driving journey.

(-: My wife gets bothered by my driving. With good reason I might add, but her getting hot under the collar doesn’t help.
