HAPPY HEALTHY NEW YEAR

We are having a wonderful trip. We left very early Tuesday morning to meet the bus which would take us with about forty others – mostly women to Fort Meyers, Florida. The trip here was easy. We stopped just once for a pit stop.

When we arrived here we had lunch and then went to a museum of Southern US. Then it was time to check in at our hotel and have a rest until supper. One wonderful thing about this tour is that it is very geared to seniors and the pace is SLOW! At night we went to a wonderful restaurant for supper. There was music and delicious food. Thankfully the weather was warm.

Yesterday we were busy. In the morning we went to the Edison Estate and learned about all the inventions he made. He really was an amazing and brilliant man!

After that we had time to nap and get ready for New Years. We went to a dinner theater where we’ve been before. We saw SINGIN IN THE RAIN. All in all it was a wonderful evening.

This morning we’ve already had breakfast and hubby and I are online. We woke up very early so we are ready to leave. We have about an hour before the bus pulls out.

We are stopping at an outlet mall. We’ve been there before so I would be just as happy to go straight home. We will have about three hours at the mall and that includes time for lunch. I plan to go to CHICOS but I doubt if their clothes will fit me. I will try on something to find out once and for all. Everyone keeps telling me their clothes will fit but I don’t think they realize how big I am.

No plans for tonight. Maybe I will call home to wish everyone a good year or maybe just maybe I’ll wait for tomorrow. Maybe there will be messages on our machine. Who knows?

Next week starts our schedule. Mondays I will be taking art. At night we will be playing bridge. Tuesdays I will be taking Israeli dancing and Thursday we will be playing Mah Jongg.

I also have to get back to swimming – guess I will start Saturday, Sunday or MOnday. LOL!!!!!!! My body has been aching so maybe the swimming will help.

I don’t plan to entertain too much the rest of the winter. If I do it will just be a few couples.

So time to go upstairs and bring down our luggage.

Once again I want to wish everyone a healthy New Year.

WOW!! You are one busy lady! I admire all of your travels. Taz and I hope to do more when I get my back, blodd pressure and feet well. All are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. My RedHat group does some Senior tours. We’ve been to an OK Pecan Pie baking company, Chocolate factory, Train museum, Natural History museum and some other little trips. I haven’t pressed for more because of my health & I’m usually the organizer. SINGING IN THE RAIN is my all time favorite musical. I just love the dancing and music. Gene Kelly is and always will be the Master of Dance to me. I need to get back to the water aerobics too and hope to soon. Much luv,
