GETTING OLDER

GETTING OLDER
IS
NOT MUCH FUN
EVEN THOUGH
YOU’RE TOLD
YOU’LL HAVE SO
MUCH TO ENJOY!
NO WORK!
FREE TIME!
TO DO WHATEVER
YOU WANT
EACH DAY!
TIME TO SPEND
ON HOBBIES
TO TRAVEL AND MORE.
BUT
BUT
BUT INSTEAD
WHAT YOU GET
IS ARTHRITIS
AND DOCTORS
AND DEATH
ALL AROUND.
SO ENJOY
YOUR TIME
AT EVERY STAGE
FOR YOU NEVER
KNOW WHEN
THE CURTAIN
COMES DOWN!!!!!!!!

better to wear out than rust out. Getting older is actually a privilege when you consider many people do not even reach old age, they die prematurely. We are the blessed ones. Arthritis, cardiac problems etc ( both of which I have) can also happen to people of any age.The difference is that we ‘mature’ folks hopefully have the wisdom and experience to deal with it better. have a good weekend, hugs P

old age is certaily better than the alternative. live while you can and enjoy life for as long as you can. you never know how much time you have. my mother had 50 years and my husband had 58 years but my son only had 20 years. i hope you get to feeling better about things soon. hopefully, you’ll be able to get to a doctor quickly. my prayers for you. take care,

Just live the moment let the future take care of itself, I think the problem is that society see old age as a time of uselessness, we need to change that thinking. Older people are wiser and have more experience to share, we need to respect that more. In Asian cultures the elderly are revered for their wisdom. We need to do that as well here in the West.
