I am so frustrated I could scream but hubby is sleeping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been working on my quilt. I can’t get anything right. I cut out some hexagons only to find out they were wrong. SO I traced it again and made a new template. After much trial and error I cut out the hexagons from some material. I sewed them on paper. Everything should have been AOK EXCEPT I cut them out of the wrong material.

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know why I just don’t give up.

perseverance is the key to all things.. one of my fren’s ‘quote for the day’ is – setback is a setup to a comeback.. dun just give up.. must try try and try.. life would be meaningless if everything u try and fail, u give up.. then there’s nothing in life tt will thrill u on.. gtg.. bye.. DS

I made a blouse and I sewed the sleeves in upside down! Great only if I wanted to walk all day long with my arms in the air! Since my eyesight is so bad now, I have given up sewing projects. I have a sister in law that quilts so well I haven’t the heart to try. :O) Love,

as the saying goes, “persistence and determination alone are omnipotent” ( Coolidge) I know the feeling well, recently I was knitting and joined in another colour that was the ‘other’ end of a colour already in use, I was knitting both ends at once!! LOL Guess all we can do is either laugh or cry! Sometimes its better to laugh!! hugs

Confucius said, “Many a hexagon goes before the final quilt.” I’m lying. Confucius never said that. The Buddha did. I’m lying again. Nobody said that. Nobody but me.

You have my sympathy AND some empathy. I can’t quilt!
