FRIENDS
We were invited for brunch this morning. Many of the people were friends for many years. Some had lived near each other in the country or in the same neighbourhood many years ago. I felt a little like a third wheel. I was also "upset" that hubby and I do not have friends from years ago. In our neighbourhoods when we were first married we just didn’t mix and mingle. We still don’t. We are happy enough to have people to be with to play bridge, go out to eat etc. I guess it is up to me to arrange dates to go out etc. I am not that good at it. In a way I don’t care and on the other hand I do.
I am excited to be starting a new stained glass piece this week. I am not sure when I can start. Classes start tomorrow and I didn’t register for the next session because we are soon going home. The classes last six weeks and I know I would only be able to attend about two or three. Tomorrow I will try to join two classes. They are only about twenty each so not a big investment.
Hopefully I will take a picture tomorrow and will try to post it here.
Anyone see the movie WOMEN ON THE SIXTH FLOOR. It is suppose to be great!
I am so grateful that we were able to spend the winter in Florida.
I am so grateful that I was able to swim everyday.
I am so grateful that hubby and I are well.
