FRIDAY IN FLORIDA

I woke up very early – maybe four. I tried to go back to sleep with no luck. So up I got. I watched I LOVE LUCY whom I love. Tomorrow her show is on all day.
I already did two loads of washing.
I made some mock chopped liver.
I made a potato pudding.
I washed the kitchen floor.
Hubby’s sister and niece are coming for supper. After supper we plan to play CANASTA.
I STARTED MY QUILT. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will work on it soon. Just taking a break.
I am still doing the Wii. Will do it soon.
I am still reading a book on my Kindle. It’s about the Holocaust. What a horrible experience for the people who lived through it.
I am still taking drumming lessons. Two more sessions to go. Not sure if I’ll reregister.
I am still taking two art classes.
Yesterday I went to the craft exchange. We worked on some origami. Next week we are going to do some wrapping of jewelry. Two new women came.
I am doing my best to stay content and appreciative of everything I have in my life.
My eldest son told me he has a possibility of a job. I am keeping my fingers and toes and eyes CROSSED!!!!!! I will be so happy for him.
Slowly I am thinking about going back home.
I am saving money for the return trip. I have about 200 so far. I have STOPPED shopping. I just don’t go to stores. Wednesday I just went food shopping and bought some vitamins. I paid some bills so I am in a very good place. I just DECIDED that I have enough and don’t need more. YEAH ME!!!!!!!!!
I am still not eating after supper although last night I had a piece of birthday cake which I love. We went to Carrabas and I had chicken marsala. It was delicious!
I must make reservations in Cape Canaveral. I think we’ll stay two nights. It will be a good change. Must look up motels in the area.
Tonight I am serving:
mock chicken liver
chicken soup
chicken
potato kugel
super vegie salad
My SIL is bringing fruit for dessert.
It was freezing when we woke up this morning. I KNOW it’s not half as cold as up north.
Time for more quilting and exercise. I think I’ll do an hour today as I have lots of time.
Oh I would like help. How would you complete these:

A family is like a pizza. Individually, bland or too spicy. Mixed together, and irrestible mish-mash of good and bad. You don’t indulge too often cause it’s delish, but, geez’, the heartburn it can give you!! I don’t know about the “chicken-soup family”, kinda’ sounds like a cheeze pizza, comforting, but not much going on. I’ve got a “combination pizza” family…

There is a free book on Kindle about a child during the Holocaust… http://t.co/RjsqMJ7

Is that mock chicken liver made with mushrooms? Can you give me the recipe again, I know you did once before but I forget to write it down. I want to try and make it.

RYN: Your note reminds me of a seance I attended. The woman running the seance kept laughing and telling jokes. Finally, one of the attendees slapped her. “Whey did you do that?” I asked. He said, “My mother always taught me to strike a happy medium.”

What is mock chopped liver? I like the real thing, including the chicken schmaltz. A family is like a pizza because even if you slice them apart, there’s still a string of cheese holding them together. A family is like chicken soup because no matter how much crap you throw into one, it can still provide nourishment.

A family is a like a pizza because its a combination of different parts working together for best taste. A family is like chicken soup because its warm, satisfying and good for your health. hugs and smiles P
