DOWNLOADING MY DIARY-0k

I never was able to dowload my diary… so I can’t be of much help. However, I just found out after getting Windows XP after having Windows ME and a Dell CD program, that Windows CD burner will let me add to a CD — and I can add and add and add with no problem. CD’s hold masses of info, especially if it is just text – you won’t HAVE to rewrite, and I’d do it that way – saving the old uploads.

I was the same as the above noter, couldn’t download my diary, but now that I have XP, I may give it another try. I have saved pics on CD’s and been able to add more, so I would assume you can do the same with a diary.

I wish I had a clue! I have never tried to download, so I don’t know how it works. Sorry. (and of course we’re all friends!)

I’d say we’re all friends. We probably know more about each other in a lot of ways than even our families do. RYN They are rearranging the channels to make the menu more “user friendly” by grouping the categories. I just hate having to learn where all my favourite shows are all over again.

And yes, you could probably put years of entries on one CD. I found it’s better to save the entry at the same time I write it. When I downloaded entries it also downloaded the html. BTW I lost a big part of my journal at OD and didn’t get it back.

I have a lot of internet friends that I have never met so yes I would think we are friends. Don’t know that much about downloading except that with a high speed connection (like DSL) the download would be a few minutes or less as I just did it myself. Course I don’t have 4000 entries like you ;-).You could maybe go back and purge any duplicate or unnecessary entries but that takes time.

yes, we ARE friends, just because we haven’t actually met. friends share the kind of trust, honesty, joys, fears, sorrows etc that we all do on here. And as for saving your entries..I print mine out into hard copy once a week and save. Now I have a CD writer I may do it that way. I save pics onto CD. Stay well my friend,

I suggest the RW disc if you want to add to it. And your whole diary should fit. RYN: The winters here are great. Just cold enough for bundling up but not too cold. It can get cold enough for snow in Jerusalem but not in PT.

RYN: I’m so happy to hear you’re continuing with the dancing. You’ll love it more and more as you learn more dances. Check out “Chagigaya” and “Skarim” on the website. Those are my new favs and I’ve almost got them down.
