DAY TWO
OY!!!!!!!! What a day I had. I didn’t get far at all. I started off tired and crabby but soon enough I was perky and enjoying the drive. BUT THEN I GOT CAUGHT BY AN ACCIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just before the Delaware bridge. I am going to look up what happened. Apparently it was a terrible accident and I was stopped at least two hours maybe more. So I just got off the road about four and will start afresh tomorrow.
I will order pizza for supper and relax. Actually there are some good restaurants nearby (Applebees, Cracker Barrel etc.) but I just don’t feel like going back out.
I was hoping to get to Fredericksburg, Virginia and go shopping. It might be better to get there early tomorrow when I won’t be so tired.
So time to read some of your entries and order supper. Take care.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That happened to us once when we were driving back home to Chicago from NJ. There were two ways we could go and of course we picked the wrong way! A truck overturned and spilled something hazardous on the highway and they CLOSED the highway and everyone had to get off on one exit!!! It was horrible. I swore I would NEVER drive to NJ again and I never did.
