DAY ONE

So today was my first day on my drive to Florida. I didn’t get too far. I wasn’t planning to. I am in Albany, New York which is about four hours south of Montreal. This has always been my first stop. I use to enjoy stopping here much more. I checked into a motel on arrival. Then I had a quick nap. I went to IHOP for lunch. I find their restaurants so grimy. I’m planning to call and tell them. I was trying to find their email address but couldn’t. Then I walked around the Christmas shop – only bought some chips. I went to Barnes and Noble. I looked around but didn’t buy anything. SURPRISE????? I think I was just tired and felt "silly" just walking around looking for something to buy. Instead I came back to the motel. I read my book, Watched Tv and ordered PIZZA for supper. 
So that was my day. Not sure how far I’ll drive tomorrow.
Last night I went for supper with my son and his wife. She didn’t feel well. She was shaking etc. I think she is just under too much stress!!!!!! I feel sad for her and my son. It spoiled the evening for me. Anyhow I trust that they will be well. I hope she learns to relax and not take everything so seriously. MY son said she is going to drive herself into an early grave. How sad!!!!!!!!!
