DAY FOUR

I AM EXHAUSTED.
I drove to Albany this morning. It took me about four hours. I checked into this DAYS INN  which is really a dump but cheap. I always stay here when I come to Albany.
Then the fun began. I didn’t stop until about 9.
This is what I did.

First thing I went to IHOP for lunch. I forgot my pill box so will have to go back in the morning. I had their harvest and grain pancakes.
Then I went to BED BATH and BEYOND. I bought two new tablecloths for Passover. I just hope they fit.
By the way as I was driving I listened to Loretta LaRoche. If you want to have a good laugh check her out!!!!!!
Then I went looking for the Price Chopper. First I went to the wrong one but they told me where to go. I bought meat for Passover and a bunch of other food. Luckily I had enough room in the car. Tomorrow morning I will pick up the meat on my way home. They froze it for me so it will last for the four hour trip home.
I went to Target next to look for soup tureens. No luck. I thought I would use them for Passover. I could put one or two on the table and have others serve the soup. I’ll have to keep looking!
Then I went to Walmart. No luck!!
Then I went to Borders. I looked for a lot of books but they didn’t have what I wanted. I’ll look them up on Amazon I guess.
I went to Outback for supper. I had their bloomin’ onion and rack of lamb. YUMMY!!!!!
Then I ended up in Barnes and Noble. I bought one book. It’s about an elderly couple who take their "last" vacation. He has Alzheimers and she has cancer. Her children don’t want her to go but she takes off anyways. It sounds like it is going to be a good read.
So that was my day. I still have to go through my bills so I can decide what to declare when I cross the border tomorrow. I hope they don’t want to check my car. Everything will FALL OUT!!!!!!!! By the time I get to the border it will be completely loaded!!!!!!
I’ve had a wonderful winter and a super trip home. I hope and pray I can do it again.
I spoke to my sons. We will go out for supper Saturday night – just the three of us. Then Sunday I will drive my son to the airport so he can go to Florida. He will drive home with my hubby on Monday.
Then the fun begins. I have to unpack and prepare for Passover which is next Monday night. I sure hope my cleaning lady will come.
