DAY 4-ok

THIS IS DAY FOUR ON THE ROAD. I should be home but because of circumstances I will only be home on Wednesday.
Today went pretty good. I am staying overnight in Virginia not far from Richmond. By the time I stopped it was freezing and it started to rain. I got off the highway just in time.
My hubby is in Albany, New York so he will be home tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will probably stop in Albany overnight.
I am thinking that I might not want to do this drive alone again. Of course each trip is very different. Usually I am not on such a tight budget so shopping makes the trip more fun. I will remember for next year so if I do drive I will save money for the trip both ways.
It is very upsetting to have trouble with the car and this trip I had problems with tires both ways.
I feel that I am getting too old maybe to stop at motels, shlep my luggage in even though there isn’t much and then load it the next day.
I don’t think I’ll decide now. Next Fall will be early enough.
Two major problems if I drive with hubby. Three actually – he likes to leave November 1. I rather go December 1.
He drives in two days. I rather take three. He did take longer this trip so maybe he is also finding the drive harder.
I don’t think we would have room for all our stuff in one van although hubby takes a lot of stuff for others. Maybe if he didn’t we would have enough room.
Then while we were in Florida we would only have one car. Most days it wouldn’t be a problem but there would be days when I want to take off for a couple of hours or more and that would mean hubby has no wheels.
As I already wrote I don’t have to decide today.
