CRANKY DANKY-ok

I am very cranky right now. We are at the trailer and as usual I wish I wasn’t. There is just nothing here for me. I come because my hubby likes it. I come because I think I should.

He wanted to come early in the morning. I don’t know why. There is NOTHING to do here. Anyhow we arrived about 12. We unpacked the car. I made the beds etc. I never unpack my valise because why should I just for two days. I leave everything in. When I need something I take it out. When we leave on Sunday I’m all ready.

Anyhow my hubby tried to connect to the internet using our router with no LUCK!! He spent about three hours trying to connect. He called our provider and my son twice. Finally about 5 he gave in. By then I was in a foul mood from hanging around all day. The internet is important to me but I would have preferred going shopping first.

We had no food so we had to go into town. On the way we had to stop to eat because he was worried the food would spoil if it sat in the car while we ate. It’s 70 Degrees. I don’t think anything would happen in an hour. Anyhow we had some pizza. Then he dropped me off at Michaels. I wanted to buy some art paper but it was ten dollars a sheet so decided to wait until I go back to the city and check out the prices there. Everything is just so expensive these days.

So we shopped at Walmart. Maybe food is cheaper there but I much rather go to Price Chopper. I never want to make a fuss so Walmart it was. They are renovating the store so everything was a mess. I bought the bare essentials and we came home. Everything is put away and that’s it for today.

Hubby wants to use the computer. Back sooner or later.

Wow, $10 a sheet is expensive for art paper. Can you take some of your knitting to the trailer. It does sound boring.

Obviously you did get the internet going. It’s a mystery sometimes why something won’t work when it did before. Like now with my laptop. I had it connected wirelessly for months, but now it doesn’t get a strong enough signal. Why? I have no idea. Did you take a book or two along?

I hate it when renovations are going on in a store I’m trying to shop in! I always figure “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” anyway. They were changing all the stuff around in our closest Walmart awhile back, but it was all just fine the way it was before they did that! hugs, Weesprite

Cant help but giggle at the idea that you go away for two days and then spend half of it setting up the internet and shopping for food.. I can see why it might not be much fun for you.. I guess it is time already to wish you a safe trip home..

That bit about hubby not wanting the food to spoil — ohhhh, that sounds familiar! Its too bad you don’t enjoy reading more… it sounds like a perfect place to just read and read!

I think I beg off next time and stay home and enjoy the peace of being alone. I hope you have a safe trip home.

I hope the weekend got better. Do you like walking, and are there places there to walk, I wonder?

Maybe you could suggest next time that you would rather not go to the trailer. Just a suggestion.
