I am starting to think and plan our trip back up north. I am not sure exactly when we will be leaving but it will be about March 15th. I want to be home atleast a week before Passover which is on March 29. I can’t believe another winter is almost over.
The weather here is freezing. I just turned on the heat and I’m wearing a sweater. I am NOT complaining – just stating a fact.
I have a busy day. I have some calls to make to friends and companies. I was charged twice for eye glasses I ordered from Amazon. So I will not go swimming this morning. Another reason I am not going swimming is that I am too tired in the afternoon to enjoy my art class. I will swim again on Wednesday and then the rest of the week. I walked a lot during the cruise so I hope that was enough. I will weigh myself on Wednesday. I am sure I didn’t lose weight as I ate too many fries!!!! YUMMY!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday I shopped all day. What else is new? I wanted a samovar so went to Steinmart. I bought one but then when I went to Walmart I saw others for much less so bought two and will give the one I bought at Steinmart back. I also went to Walmart to buy food. I also bought some new underwear so will be throwing out some of the stained and stretched out ones.
I stopped in at Jerry’s Artarama and bought some paper for painting today.
We went out for supper. I had yummy lamb chops.
Tonight we are going out with hubby’s sister and her SIL as she is here from California and going back Wednesday.
Our bridge group is finally breaking up. I don’t know if we’ll have a game tomorrow night. One couple quit and they are taking their friend with them. Another couple decided to leave but will wait until we go home. I am not sorry as people were not enjoying themselves. I am not sure what will happen tomorrow night. I will have to call around.
So it’s time for breakfast. Then I will pack up some stuff to send to my grandchildren. Not sure if I will mail it today or tomorrow. Maybe I’ll wait for tomorrow and go to Steinmart also.
I should write a gratitude entry but not now. Suffice it is to write that I am grateful, very grateful to be alive, in pain, warm and going to eat breakfast. Thank you to the universe.
