COOKING AND BAKING – OK

So today I am busy preparing for the Jewish New Year. I already made the Matzoh balls. I will soon make the lasagna. Just have to put the ingredients together and bake. I am boiling water to make pasta for tomorrow. I am baking a chocolate chip pie. I still have to make a salad and pomegranate chicken. It’s the first time I am making it so hope it will be good.
My son and his family are coming to shul with us tomorrow. I am very happy about it. Last year she wouldn’t hear of it.
So tonight I am serving:
mocked chopped liver
vegetable salad
chicken soup with matzoh balls
chicken
noodle kugel
apples and honey for a sweet new year
honey cake

Tomorrow for lunch:

salad
lasagna
gefilte fish
lox
bagels
hummous
chalah
pasta

I think that’s it. Doesn’t sound like much but I am sure it will be enough. Off to make the lasagna.
