CHILI DAY – OK

  Today I plan to make chili for supper. I haven’t made it for a long time. I will have to go food shopping as I am missing most of the ingredients. I have to go out anyways as I need to go to the bank and postoffice. I will go out much later as I want to go on the treadmill before. Yesterday I went to the ear, nose and throat doctor., He said all is well thank goodness. He suggested I drink more water so my mucous will be "thinner."
Then I went to get my passport renewed. I was surprised that I only waited a half hour. They will mail it to me so I don’t even have to go back.
Next I met my cousin for lunch. I had to go pick her up because her car was impounded. Her son was driving her car without a valid license. My poor cousin has been taken to the poor house because of this son. When her husband died he left a lot of money. She was depressed so her son took over her finances. He spent most of her money and is still "borrowing" money so she has little left. I feel sad for her. I wonder when she’ll cut him off for good. He reminds me a lot of my brother.
I went to the bookstore because I wanted to find some tour guides from New York. In the end I bought nothing as I can look everything up online. I tried to find a hotel to stay at in New Jersey not far from New York but so far no luck. I will ask a friend but she is in Florida now.
Slowly we are getting ready for Florida. Of course a  visit to all our doctors comes first. I still have to go to the dentist and eye doctor.
Last night I couldn’t sleep so I tidied up the kitchen table and book shelves nearby. I didn’t get rid of much but it looks a lot cleaner.
