The more momentum you build by putting thoughts into worrying about things that ‘might’ happen, the more you attract it so that it does happen. Therefore, be more aware of what you are attracting with your thoughts. Instead, deliberately attract what you want, by deliberately thinking positive thoughts about these same issues. That is a way of using your energy to bring wonderful outcomes into your experience.
How? You cannot immediately shift your habits of thought from chronically negative to chronically positive. It is a slow gentle shift. First, you need to set an intention. Then you need to catch yourself thinking negatively, let it go, and deliberately think something positive instead. Making lists helps. The single most effective tool a person can give to themselves as a gift, that helps to create the needed shift in ‘attitude,’ is a tool such as a blank journal, or even a private online diary. Use it to write down things that you appreciate. Every day. If this is too difficult, find other, less time-consuming ways to gently shift your focus away from things that you do not want.
This is the work. You are perfect and complete just as you are, in this moment. Be kind to yourself. Do for yourself the things that you would want others to do for you. Smile at your reflection. Forgive yourself. Life is a gift. Notice that you live an abundant life.
