BRINGING YOU UP TO DATE(if you care)

Yesterday was my grandson’s sixth birthday. I picked him up from school. He played around for awhile and then we left. We went to Walmart as there was some toy that he wanted. Turns out the they didn’t have it and neither did the local TOYS R US. I will go to another Walmart or TOYS R US and see if they have it.

Anyhow on the way to his house we stopped to buy a yummy birthday cake. He is such a sweet, quiet and agreeable little boy.

We went back to his house where he lives with his mother and her lover.  They seem to be very happy and my grandson is lucky to have such wonderful women looking after him.

They have the Wii. My DIL was showing me how to do the Wii fit. I think I will buy it when and if I ever have some free money. It looks like a lot of fun.

They made a delicious supper. Actually they cut up vegies etc and we each made our own pizza. My son and hubby were there too.

We stayed until nine.

I feel a little disloyal to my son to be "close" to my ex DIL but she is my grandson’s mother!

My sugar was ten this morning. I guess I will have to change my medication.

I have been doing the treadmill forty minutes a day. I must go do it soon.

My hubby went to the doctor for a prostrate checkup.

My friennd is coming over to work on our eggs.

Time to change the washing and get my exercise done.

Planning a trip to Winnipeg at the end of May with three cousins.
