BIG DISAPPOINTMENT-ok

This afternoon I took some of my artwork to an exclusive art gallery near where I live. She wasn’t interested at all. She told me that she could never sell the three d pictures I made because of copyright. I guess she is right. She also wasn’t at all interested in my abstract art. Oh well at least I tried. I realize that it is only her opinion but it still hurt.
I never thought about selling my work but my hubby and others use to encourage me to try. So I did!
Time for supper. We’re holing up here because it is freezing out and I am happy staying home.

You’re right..it’s just her opinion. Keep trying. It’s bitter cold here tonight too. We just got home from eating out and shopping and now I’m snuggled in my comfy clothes and trying to get warm. Happy weekend! 🙂

She’s not worth it. Find someone else who will buy them. And yes…there is someone…

keep trying!!

I have sent my book to 75 publishers with no luck…. yes, it is discouraging, but sooner or later you will find someone interested. I will too. 🙂

Don’t give up, she is only one person. They say Colonal Sanders was turned down 99 times before he got someone to believe in his chicken recipe. Now KFC is everywhere!

My husband is a really good artist plus does tats, you shouldn’t give up on selling them somewhere, she is just one person and probably has differents tastes so keep trying.

I understand your dissapointment, but don’t give up. Its rather like trying to get a book published…each gallery just as each publisher has their own style. Don’t give up! hugs P

Well she did not say your art wasn’t good, anyway. She said she couldn’t sell it because of copyright. It’s the same way with writing…. writers get MANY letters of rejection before they finally sell something. Don’t worry, though. You’ll sell your work one day if you really want to, and meanwhile, the main thing is that you enjoy doing it so much! hugs, Weesprite
