BACK HOME

Hubby woke me around six so we were home by one! I wasn’t grouchy at all today. Hats off to me! Sometimes there were nasty things I wanted to say but I controlled myself. I knew I should be grateful that hubby agreed to stay until today. I slept a lot but I also drove a couple of hours. It makes the trip easier for me. I think for hubby too.
When we got home I unpacked. I had a bowl of cereal for lunch. Hubby had said that he wasn’t hungry towards the end of the trip so
I didn’t plan on any lunch. Of course once we got here he was hungry but it was too late. I always tell him that if it is meal time he/we should eat something even if we aren’t hungry. Otherwise an hour later you are hungry and it could be very inconvenient like what happened today. I would have eaten at our last gas stop but he didn’t want.
I have been watching the Olympics. I have also worked on two new scrapbook pages. I also worked on the new painting for my grandson. Once I finish it I will take the two I have to be framed.
I talked to my friend. She is planning to move so busy cleaning and throwing out. She finally realizes that a lot has to go in the garbage or recycling. No body wants old books etc.
So now it’s time for bed. Have a restful night.

Left to my own devices, I tend to eat when hungry and not to a set time. If I am anxious then I can sometimes eat constantly! Hope you share your painting with OD. Best wishes, A

I’m glad you had a safe trip home 🙂

A lot of people like old books! I love going in second hand book stores – they have a certain smell, an amazing smell! I can browse for hours.x

I recently watched several unrelated tv shows in which boxes full of books are just send off to the dump. Goodness, it is so upsetting to me, but that’s reality right? It still makes me sad. Glad you’re home safely!
