ANOTHER REUNION -ok

Tonight was another reunion from the group that we went to Israel and Poland with. It’s the first time that I really enjoyed myself. I am not sure why. It was a barbecue. The couple’s home is wonderful. So much art and such a large home. Everyone brought some food to share and the couple supplied the hamburgers and hot dogs.  I think the reason I enjoyed myself was because for the first time I felt comfortable mingling. I talked to a lot of people. Most of them are women but there were a few men my hubby talked to.
I would like to invite them here once but it’s the first time that I feel ashamed of my home. Ours is small and very old. We don’t really care or should I say my hubby doesn’t care about our home. Maybe there will come a time when I won’t care. Maybe when they can’t find another place……………………..
Our next meeting is in September. Until then we have a few books to read. All with Jewish content or about the HOLOCAUST.
Another March of the Living Trip is planned for the Spring. I would love to go. We will see as it’s quite expensive. I would love to take my daughter. I don’t know if she is interested. Maybe I’ll go myself and hubby can meet up with me in Israel.
