There is no better opportunity to receive more than to be thankful for what you already have. Thanksgiving opens the windows of opportunity
for ideas to flow your way.

We learn the magical lesson that making the most of what we have turns into more.
Say thank you, until you mean it.
Thank God, for life and the universe and for everyone and everything sent your way. Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
It turns problems into gifts, failures into successes, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events.
It can turn an existence into a real life, and disconnected situations into important and beneficial lessons.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
Gratitude makes things right.
Gratitude turns negative energy into positive energy.
There is no situation or circumstances so small or so large that it is not susceptible to gratitude’s power.
We can start with who we are and what we have TODAY, apply gratitude, then let it work it’s magic.
Say thank you, until you mean it.
<span style=”font-size: x-large; “>If you say it long enough, you will believe it.
Today will shine the transforming light of gratitude on all the circumstances of my life.

Look How Far You’ve Come
Take time today to be thankful for all the good things in your life.
Think of everything you’ve got going for you, the people who care about you, the experiences you’ve had, your skills and interests, your faith, the beauty of life itself.
The things you appreciate, value and care for, will
increase in your life. Abundance begins with gratitude. Being sincerely thankful for what you
already have, will propel you, spiritually, mentally and physically, toward whatever you would like to have.
You know you can do it, because you’ve already done it. You have filled your life with abundance. Anything you want is within reach,
when you appreciate how far you’ve already come.
–Ralph S. Marston, Jr.

Gratitude is one of the sweet shortcuts to finding peace of mind and happiness inside. No matter what’s going on outside of us, there’s always
something we could be grateful for.
–Barry Neil Kaufman

Be Thankful
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who will not survive the week.
If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of
imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation… you are <span style="font-family: 'ArialBlack’; “>ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death…you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace…you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy.
If your parents are still alive and still married…you are very rare, even in the United States.
If you can hold someone’s hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder…you are blessed because you can offer God’s healing touch.
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
Have a good day, count your blessings, and pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.

At one time in my life (when I was in my 30s), whenever I heard someone say, "Have an attitude of gratitude" I thought I’d puke. I was
filled with a "g" emotion, all right, but it wasn’t Gratitude, it was Guilt…. and shame
too. Bradshaw explains the difference: "Guilt is I made a mistake, Shame is I am a mistake." So it was mostly shame that I felt.
Therefore, whenever I heard the word gratitude, I shuddered and then berated myself, "I should feel
grateful, I have so much." But "should-ing" on myself never helps, I would just feel worse.
It is now two decades later. After years and years of personal growth work, I no longer cringe when I hear the word "gratitude." In fact, about
ten years ago I even taught an adult education class on gratitude. Now, when
I hear or think the word, it centers and energizes me. It elicits an inner <span style=”font-size: x-large; “>smile, reminding me of all the gifts I have received and continue to receive
on a daily basis. And so, for me today, having an "attitude of gratitude" means having a perfect day.
