A WONDERFUL DAY – OK

 Yesterday I had a wonderful day and night. Was it because I spent it shopping or was it because I was with my favourite cousin? It’s a toss up. I shopped for what I needed but of course did get a few extras.
I slept in till 9:30. Maybe I would still be sleeping but my cousin called at nine thirty. She came over about 11:30. Her hubby and mine went to play golf and we went shopping. Before she came I went over to the post office. I mailed some stuff to my grandchildren. While I was there the store owner who I have become very friendly with showed me the little ZHU ZHU pets that apparently are so popular now. Of course I had to buy some. They are adorable. I sure hope the kids will like them. I will mail them on Monday.
Anyhow my cousin and I started off by going to the needlepoint store.
As an aside I am trying to catch a bug which moves at the speed of light. I don’t know what it is but it just went under my dishwasher. I hate seeing bugs around  especially when I can’t catch them and don’t know where they will turn up next!
After the needlepoint store we went to IHOP for breakfast. We chatted up a storm. At least she talked and I listened.
Then we went to the party store. We were looking for Hanukah stuff on sale. Nothing was on sale. They are keeping the stuff for next year. That’s a first! We walked around and I found these large plastic coloured balls which we could fill with all sorts of candy and small toys. I was so excited. As they say small things amuse small minds. I bought three of the balls and then bought all sorts of stuff. At the end I put in some confetti. I know the children will love everything. It will be so much fun. I am wondering if I should mail them or keep them for the cruise.
The bug still hasn’t showed up…………….

Next we went to Walmart where I bought some food. I was tempted to buy some books but they didn’t have the whole series and I don’t like to buy just one or two because what if I can’t find the rest? My cousin did buy a toy for her grandaughter’s third birthday. The Hanukah stuff was not on sale there either.
We went to Michaels. I ran in to get a magnifying class. Not sure if I will keep it because I saw better ones at Joanns.
Last but not least we stopped at Howard’s – a food store where I bought some quiche and froze them for the future.
We came home about 6 just on time to leave for supper. We did spend a few minutes dividing up the toys to put into the balls. We went to Macaroni Grill with another couple. Yummy chicken marsala.
Today i am planning to stay home most of the day. I do hope to go swimming but first I am going to CLEAN!!!!!! I want to take down all the Hanukah decorations. I really would like to leave the tree but will take it down. I have to wash the kitchen floor which is filthy.I want to work on Herbalife and my scrapbooking so have plenty to do. I also want to make some calls.
