A WONDERFUL DAY AND NIGHT

I had the most wonderful day.
I did the Wii for an hour. I used over 300 calories. I enjoy doing it and it’s easy and fun at the same time.
We had lunch. Then a friend called to go to the indoor pool at the clubhouse. Sadly it was closed for repairs so we went to the outdoor pool. The water was cold but it was ok once we got in. We swam for about a half hour and then went into the sauna followed by a shower and got dressed. We went to the outdoor pool near our condo. It was so crowded. I don’t know why there were so many people. Anyhow I sat for about an hour. I worked on my needlepoint. I still have a long way to go.
I came back to prepare supper for us and a friend. Then about seven thirty other friends came over to play CANASTA. They just left.
Last night we were invited to friend’s for supper. We talked about going on a cruise at the end of February or beginning of March. We would like to go for a week on the OASIS or ALLURE. I don’t know if the dates are going to work out.
I invited the two couples for supper on Friday. We will discuss the research we found and then hopefully book a cruise.
Tomorrow is washing( changing linen) and then art.
I have started to plan different social activities because otherwise we sit alone!
I am so very grateful to be in Florida for the winter.
My children will stay one night in Manhattan on their way to the cruise in March. I wish I could go with them. They will go to TOYS R US……..Hershey’s etc. Lucky kids.
I am still trying to finish the book, "THE INVISIBLE BRIDGE." I am reading it as much as I can but can’t seem to finish it. I will read a much lighter book next. The HOLOCAUST was a tragic and horrible time. I just can’t understand how people lived through it. Of course many didn’t.

There is still no solution for our elevator. So far they still plan to do it March 1.

I guess it’s time to go to bed. I didn’t have a nap.
