A WONDERFUL DAY

This morning hubby and I worked on placing my eggs to their best advantage in the credenza. I always love when we work together. I guess I should admit that we don’t always work well together but this morning we did. he had some great ideas on showing my eggs off!
Then we moved our dining room table on an angle. My decorator suggested it so we are trying it for now. She has such unique ideas. I put out all my odd cups and saucers. I am missing some saucers so will find another use for them or throw them out. I will bring some to Toronto on the weekend. I think my SIL and nieces will want some.
I unpacked a lot of my craft supplies. I have two boxes left. YIPPEE!!!!!!! I also have some odds and ends lying around. I don’t think I’ll finish before Toronto but I will next week.
In the afternoon just as I was going to have a nap my friend called to see if I wanted to go shopping. I decided to go. We went for coffee and sat and chatted. Then we went to WINNERS and I blew my bundle. I bought a Lazy Susan for cutlery. I bough two wicker baskets which are sitting near the Lazy Boy chairs. I put some large books inside. I think they look great. I bought a red soap dispenser for my black bathroom. I bought a large white glass container. I put in my "rocks" and it’s sitting in the living room but I think I will put it on my kitchen counter. It looks so cool to me! I bought a glass hour glass. COOL!!!!! I bought hooks that hang over the bathroom door for our wet towels. I think that’s it. Oh, yes~ I also bought a present for my friend. She invited us for supper tomorrow night. She is very difficult to buy for as she doesn’t collect anything and is a minimalist. I bought her two bath towels. I forgot that we could bring wine and/ or flowers. So I had fun. When I came back home we went for supper. All in all a wonderful super duper day.
Tomorrow morning I am going to the dermatologist. I have put it off since I came from Florida. After that I will get my hair cut and my treat will be to go over to the library. I love it there. I can take out up to thirty items. They have books, videos, DVDS, magazines etc.
So now I am going to see if I can carry my huge glass container into the kitchen. If you hear breaking, smashing noise you will know I dropped it.  OY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
